A little about Ms. Daniels
Hi! My name is Kayla Daniels I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I was born and raised in Clayton, North Carolina. I am beyond excited to be teaching in my county where I attended school. I love being outdoors, hiking, traveling, listening to music, as well as cooking. I have a puppy of my own (pictured to the left); he is two years old and simply adorable. Enough about me; I can not wait to get to know you and your student this year! I could not be more excited to have the opportunity to be teaching your student.
Educational Philosophy
It is my belief that my role as an educator is to create a safe and inclusive environment for each and every student that challenges and grows them educationally, socially, and emotionally. It is important to me that this year supports growth mindsets where students transition from being dependent to having more independent encounters and activities. It is important to me that my classroom management continues to be inclusive and grows in a way that supports students' learning and creativity.
